Reverse Engineering
2020/21 : Kitchen Products
The theme for 2020/21 academic year was small kitchen gadgets and appliances (toasters, kettles, fryers, ice cream machines etc…). With three submissions this time (user experience, role & function and manufacturing & cost). Again the requirements were a two page A3 “Poster Porfolio” style for each, so 6 pages total. Meaning a largely visual (or image led) document that still had good depth of content if required. Grabbing and then keeping the reader’s attention.
Putting such a document together is also part of the challenge, it needs to have sufficient quality and research, but unlike a report, needs to be quick and easy to digest with the key messages communicated at a glance.
Many thanks to all the amazing students from the class. I’ve highlighted a few here to show the breadth of work done (in order).
